Desired Skills & Experience
Experience:
Strong understanding and considerable practical experience in design, deployment and management of Microsoft servers (thru 2008) in LAN and WAN multisite environments.
- Experience in Exchange rollouts and admin thru 2010
- Experience with SQL and SharePoint Administration
- Experience with Citrix (XenServer & XenApp) implementations, troubleshooting and support of network and users
- Comfortable with a broad range of technologies and environments from desktops/end-user technology to server architecture and infrastructure
- Comfortable with help desk remote support environment as well as onsite deployments
Skills:
- Thrive on servicing a demanding variety of environments and clients
- Deliver excellent customer service via the telephone
- Experience in remote help desk support and remote management & monitoring tools
- A strong ability to follow-up and communicate with clients and document all interactions in ticketing system
- Extremely detail oriented, meticulous at documentation and excellent with time/task management
- Ability to act as a technology advisor to identify opportunities for making client organizations more efficient and successful
- Good understanding of solution development in small and mid-sized business environments.
Required/Desired:
- Minimum of 5 + years related hands-on work experience
- Citrix/Virtualization preferred – XenServer XenApp
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends on occasion
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or closely related field
- MCSE, MCITP, CCA and/or CCNA Preferred
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project
