Overview
So, by now we know Vista wasn’t quite the shining star that Microsoft had hoped. In fact, many might say it was more like a lead weight. With a planned release date of October 22, 2009, Microsoft promises an easy-to-use and secure system that alleviates the many performance complaints drawn by Vista. Windows 7 is the next generation of Microsoft’s operating system that hopes to move users forward from Windows XP which lingered on as many found Windows Vista too difficult to use and too hardware intensive.
Windows 7 has been designed to be more user-friendly as well as more compatible with other programs and hardware. This operating system has adopted a minimalist approach and only installs the basic programs on your computer. If you want add-ons, they can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website.
