Duties & Responsibilities
We believe in building strong relationships with our clients through a solutions-based sales process. You should enjoy engaging prospective clients and building a long term relationship through multiple points of communication. We place high value on experience having previously sold to a wide range of SMB businesses with a history of developing strong, partner-like relationships with those clients. Selling activities, via telephone, networking, and meetings, involve prospecting, qualifying, educating, rapport building, persuading, nurturing, appointment setting, and closing. Prospects are typically C-Level executives such as CEOs, Presidents, and Operations Managers at businesses typically sized 15-200 employees in a variety of industries.
This is a “hunter” position responsible for developing and delivering new client sales, based on establishing trust and providing value within the SMB marketplace (15-200 employees). The Technology Services Sales Director should have experience in new sales development and the ability to build strong business relationships. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to listen to and understand a prospect’s business needs in order to successfully propose a technology solution.
? Prospecting – identifying and qualifying customers through cold calling, following up on company generated leads, identifying new sources of potential prospect contacts as appropriate. This role is expected to generate outbound activity to achieve success. Outbound calls to new prospects (minimum of 30-50 + calls per day)
? Personally attending network events, conferences and tradeshows to build relationships that will create sales.
? Building trust and value with partners to develop leads
? Using developed sales tools, presenting our packaged services in an articulate and professional manner
? Keeping leads, opportunities and sales up-to-date with CRM automation tools. The ability to document and manage activity and results through a very defined CRM-based process is vital to success for this role.
Knowledge/Skills
? Responsible for fielding inbound inquiries via both the web, referrals and phone
? Lead generation for new opportunities through the following:
? Outbound email
? Outbound sales to corporate leads generated through marketing programs
? Ability to present our packaged technology services in an articulate and professional manner
? Ability to follow up with opportunities and marketing-driven leads in a consistent manner with documented results
? Ability to qualify prospects to set high quality appointments
? Consisting tracking of all communication with perspective and customers through the CRM system
? Ability to meet quotas for qualified appointments set/new customers enrolled
? Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements

? Degree from a 4-year University
? Experience with sales of 3-5 years, preferably solution based with technology focus.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Ability to overcome objections and build relationships over the phone
? Good organizational skills
? Ability to quickly learn and enact a detailed sales process and CRM-based sales activity documentation and management system
? Professional, C-Level communication skills and customer-focused sales attitude
