This support team engineer, or Client Solutions Manager (CSM) as we call them, is committed to deliver technical excellence and a satisfying client experience with each interaction for their assigned client group.
Experience:
- Strong understanding and practical experience in design, deployment and management of Microsoft servers (thru 2003 – 2012) in LAN and WAN multisite environments
- Solid networking skills including DNS, DHCP and proficiency with SMB router/firewall (like SonicWALL) configuration and management
- Experience in Exchange, basic SQL, and SharePoint administration
- Very proficient in desktop support in a helpdesk/ remote management environment.
- Experienced in managing backup solutions; image-based backup or BDR system knowledge a plus.
Success Factors/Skills:
- Thrive on servicing a demanding variety of small business environments and clients both desktop and server
- Customer-focused, energetic with excellent telephone presence and ability to document all interactions in ticketing system
- Experience in ticketing systems with remote management & monitoring tools
- Understanding of IT solution development in SMB environments with ability to act as a client advisor.
Required/Desired:
- Minimum of 5 + years related hands-on IT experience
- Citrix/VMware Virtual server management a plus
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends on occasion
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or closely related field
- MCSE, MCITP, CCA and/or CCNA Preferred
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project
