Tampa – Sept. 8, 2010 – The Pasco Economic Development Council has named The Launch Pad, a Tampa-based small business IT support firm, as the winner of 2010 Industry Achievement Technology Award. The award recognizes companies who have experienced significant growth and success in their industry while making a positive impact on their community.
“Our move to Pasco County in 2007 has been marked by the most prolific growth in our 18-year history. We have the great fortune of having not only a talented team but also the support and guidance of dedicated community organizations like Pasco Economic Development Council,” said Rosoff, adding that while working to make their clients happy has its own rewards, “it is a great honor and a wonderful affirmation to be recognized by an organization like PEDC dedicated to our success. It is affirmation that we have been able to give back to a community that has invested in us and is committed to the technology industry.”
A high profile networking event and trade show launched the 24th Annual Industry Appreciation Banquet that took place at Saddlebrooke Resort. The following morning, both the St. Petersburg Times and the Tampa Tribune, the Bay area’s two long-time dailies, profiled The Launch Pad and its sometimes outside-the-box approach to successful business and to delivering high tech.
