What is Wave? Wave is a personal communication and collaboration tool. Wave is open source. Wave is web based and written in HTML5. What does this mean? It means any browser can Wave, no special client required. According to Google, Google Wave is email if it had been invented today.
Even as a simple email client, Wave is slick. Tired of editing emails just to reply to one question or comment? With Google Wave, select the section, create the split and a new thread begins right were the wave was split. Want to add a new person, just drag them to the wave. What if the wave has been going on for some time? Simple, the new attendee just “plays back” the Wave and the entire conversation plays back to them and allows them to catch up.
