Total Attorneys Simplifies Small Firm Management Best Practice Series and Virtual Law Office
Posted on March 29, 2010 by

Innovative companies always garner our attention, especially when they provide technology services to one of the verticals we specialize in, in this case the legal industry.   Total Attorneys is a technology-enabled service provider dedicated to assisting with every aspect of small and solo law firm practice management, growth, and development.  They bridge the gap for resource- strapped smaller firms by providing the talent, tools, and technology to help attorneys manage their offices, grow their businesses and collaborate with peers.

Part of Total Attorneys mission is to provide firms with educational resources and support in an ever-changing legal market.  The Best Practice Series, presented by company President, Kevin Churn, is a weekly video series of tips on how to market a law practice, manage firm staff, build client relationships, and utilize technology and the web to create a successful legal services business.  The first installment, “Understanding the Immediacy of the Web”, discusses the importance of responding to web-based inquiries in a timely manner.  Installments are posted every Thursday, so be sure to check back regularly.

Recently introduced and of particular interest to us is their “Virtual Law Office Technology”   (VLO)  which is a software-as-a-service offering that allows small firms to work virtually and have access to a full complement of practice management tools. The  software, priced per seat, serves as an attorney’s law office, handling administrative and management tasks, as well as communication with the client.  24/7 your clients can register and complete attorney retainer agreement, receive their own secure homepages, request legal services, communicate with the attorney or legal assistant and upload and download documents.  The program also offers time and billing features and online collaboration with your staff.

You can take a walk through and check it out.  Additionally, as a VLO client, you can take advantage of The Launch Pad’s RevITup™ Business Care Legal Small Office Series and have each of your team members fully supported for all networking and help desk issues at a low, fixed monthly fee.  Just use the Technology Assessment form a and we will contact you to discuss program details.
